INTRODUCTION
The Department of Economics was established in 1961. The department is in charge of training the foundation subjects of economics for undergraduate and graduate programs of the Faculty of Economics and Rural Development and other programs of the Vietnam National Univerity of Agriculture.
The department has carried out many scientific research projects with research cooperation with domestic and international organizations. The department's main research areas include problems related to growth, economic development, economic management, international economics, agricultural economics, environmental economics and ecology.
