Research and consultancy services
The faculty has 4 Strong Research Groups: 1) Agricultural Policies Research, 2) Natural Resource and Environmental Economics and Management, 3) Rural Development Management, and 4) Economic Linkages and Market Development. These groups are in charge of conducting research, consultant services, short-term training courses, providing research and consultancy services as requested by government and non-government organizations, public and private sectors in the following fields:
- Policies for agricultural and rural development
- Economics and production economics
- Marketing and supply chains, value chain management
- Economic linkages and agricultural market development
- Rural development, poverty reduction and rural institutional reforms
- Environmental and natural resource economics and management;
- Agricultural extension and Technology transfer,
- Economic Development Forecasting and International economic integration;
- Economic Management and Sustainable development
Planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of investment and development projects;
